Brent Sullivan, director-construction, joined Olympus in late 2017 during the company’s first well drilling.

Before his time with Olympus, Brent developed a passion for large-scale midstream projects at his previous position in Northeast Pennsylvania, where he supervised pipeline projects and compressor stations. Brent also spent time working for the same operator in West Texas, monitoring saltwater disposal facilities and central transfer facility builds.

In addition to his prior oil and gas experience, Brent managed highway construction projects and was a surveyor, making him a well-rounded, versatile addition to the Olympus team.

“Olympus has provided me with a unique opportunity. At a larger company, there is a separate construction team for each – midstream facilities and pipelines, upstream facilities, civil construction, and roadway updates. Here, I get to manage all aspects. With so many moving parts, I truly think it streamlines our builds by increasing communication and improving efficiency across the field.”

Brent earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 2009 from Pennsylvania State University and began working in the construction field soon after.

“The construction team that we have developed here at Olympus thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment, a perfect fit for the communities where we operate and our current activity level.”

Brent resides in Westmoreland County with his wife, two children, and yellow lab. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially when he talks them into a fly-fishing trip or other fun adventure.
